Just like the TV shows

This weekend a bunch of our friends came over and helped Sam and I transform the Living room and Kitchen. All the guys worked on sanding the cabinets (resulting in many of them having some allergy problems....Sorry guys) and adding trim to them, and then the guys and girls stained them. While the guys worked on the sanding, the gals all worked on painting the Living room, entryway, and hall. After that job was completed some of the ladies cleaned the trim and places that were taped off while others glazed the old paneling. (Also I have to thank the gals that watched the kids while we did all this) After all the work was done, Sara put her expertise to work and we got decorations back up on the wall and made everything look really nice. The rooms took on such a drastic transformation in two days I felt like we were on one of those home shows. It was a great weekend of hard work and a lot of fun fellowship. Stay tuned this week to see the before and after pictures. If I ever get the kitchen reorganized and clean (it was amazing how much stuff I pulled out of those cabinets!) I will be taking and posting pictures.
