Well I have said all along I would potty train Pierce at the end of Greenhouse season. I knew it would be a challenge to do but I think I am going to find out really quick that I still under estimated how this would go.
What I have found so far is he is only going when he feels like it. I could ask him every minute of every day and he will say no. He wants to come tell you when he needs to go, which would be awesome if he told you all the time not once a day.
Secondly sitting on the potty only last about 1 minute. Then we have to turn and look into the toilet and put the lid down and stand on top of it. I have heard you are not suppose to get on to them while training but after 20 minutes of this there is usually a "PIERCE FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY SIT DOWN"
Third and this is the one I never imaged until it hit me...literally, not only do I have to make him sit but I have to constantly remind him to tuck. Yep Pierce has peed while sitting on the toilet 3 or 4 times but it never seems to make it to the toilet, it usually makes it onto the floor or worse, me. Oh the joys of potty training, hopefully I will learn my lessons so Miller will go much smoother.
Well Miller's 2 minute (not kidding) nap is over so I better end this post.

You make me laugh out loud when I read your posts. You are too funny. I can't believe how big Miller is already! Sorry I didn't get to stop by over the 4th. I had to drive home on Monday only to work the night shift. It was rough.
Potty training is a mother's worst nightmare. It was so hard with Zhara & the part I hated the most was when my friends told me how easy it was for their kids. I feel your frustration (Zhara has been potty training for almost 2 years & still pees in her pants more than she should) Good luck & remember he won't be peeing in his pants when he's 17 so it will all be okay :)
