Christmas Day

Christmas day could not have been more fun. Pierce is getting to an age where he really enjoys opening gifts. Though he started a little slow cause like his mom he hates to get out of bed. But after about the second gift he was ready to get into it. It seemed to be a Lighting McQueen morning. Most of his gifts were related to that. As you can see above, Pierce and Miller are in their McQueen pj's setting on a McQueen beanbag and talking pillow.

Next we have pictures of Pierce and Miller both enjoying Miller's new bouncy and spin horse. I am sure our neighbors below us are happy they got this. I will for sure need to put a rug under it.

After a spin on the horse Pierce decided to take his new shaving kit and go shave with his daddy.

Now this next picture has to be my all time favorite. Miller's pj's were a little slippery and he accidentally fell on the kitchen floor so after he stopped crying Sam went to change him into some clothes. But during the process Miller escaped with his pj's still on but he had them unzipped and had his feet out of them. He was funny to watch run around but I love the pose he struck for me in this one. I just know if he could talk he would tell me "that's right, I'm sexy!"

Later in the day Michael and Nicky came over for dinner and family gifts. Then we played a little bowling and watched Kung Fu Panda. After they left Sam and I took down the tree (yeah I am not one of those that leaves it up... Christmas is done lets get that tree down... Plus I was about to kill either Tater the cat or Miller or both if they didn't leave that tree alone)

So the kids are happy, spent time with family, stuffed my belly more than I should have, got my house cleaned I would say all in all...it was a great Christmas.

It is so fun as they get older & they are excited & you don't have to be overly excited just to get them to open their gifts :) It sounds like it was a good one!p
ps the people below me probably don't like us jumping around either :)
